Anyway...I don't really know how to start this thing so I guess I'll do a quick recap of my life the last few years.
- Married to Joe almost 8 (!) years. June 17th is our anniversary for anyone wanting to send gifts. Or condolences to Joe! :)
- Daughter Olivia was born May 22, 2004. She is the greatest joy in our lives. She's an amazing, beautiful, intelligent, talkative (THAT she must get from Joe!) little girl.
- I've worked at Alliant Energy for five years now, the last two in the Communications department. I am the editor of all internal newsletters.
- Joe works for jellyfish.com as an account manager. They were bought out by Microsoft a few months ago.
- We've been living in Sun Prairie for the last two and a half years and we love it!
- We're having a baby.
Oh. That. Yeah. I'm 32 weeks today and decided that a blog would be a good way to keep in touch with friends and family. This way, we can more easily share photos and milestones with anyone who's interested. I feel bad that I didn't do this sooner - Olivia has proven to be quite the little entertainer over the years and it would have been fun to share it with more people. Oh well. I'm sure the addition of another little one will give her just that much more material!
So, anyway. This blog will (hopefully!) be a place where people can quickly catch up on what the Schaefer family is up to. My next order of business will be to get some pictures posted. I don't mess with our camera much (except for taking photos), so it should be a learning experience. (Meaning it's probably not going to be perfect or look very good! Have patience while I try to learn this "new' technology!)
